The Author Buzz guide to Author Platforms is a project to collect all the useful information that authors might need to know about platform building into one place.

Author Platforms’ methodology

The pages are added to over time and updated to reflect changes, new research or newly discovered best practices. Most pages start out as little more than a title and an introduction. Then we add to the pages links to posts we have written about the topic, links to subtopics, youtube videos, charts and graphs from reports and studies, and additional content that helps cover the topic more fully.

If a page gets too big we break it down into several smaller and more manageable pages.

Author Platforms’ Writers

The primary writer is Author Buzz head geek, Matthew Brown. Aside from writing guides or blogging, Matthew is a writer and the chair of Thanet Creative.

Secondary contributions, tips, leads, and insights can be made via the Author Platforms working group on Author Buzz.
