When blogging, in all the ways you can, as often as you can – use humour.

Trust me on this, if you can make potential readers laugh, they will no longer be potential readers, they will just readers. They will remember you – the writer that made them feel good when they least expected it. They will come back for another fix like an addict.

Even if your work itself is not funny, if your persona, your presentation, makes people smile, you are winning new readers.
