Reputation management

Reputation management is a specialised form of SEO and content marketing. Its aim is to ensure that the first page of your search engine results (SERPs) are wholly positive and good for your reputation.

Typical approached include signing up for all sites that offer a public profile page. By claiming your profile page before anyone else can, you ensure that you control the narrative when people come looking for you.

This is why some brands sign up for all the social media sites if only to point people towards their more active social platforms.
