Love them or loathe them, Amazon is one of the biggest online retailers and that means for us authors, we have to know how to work with them.
One study showed that just under half of all product searches began on Amazon. That is a number too big for authors to ignore.
While this data was sampled from American respondents, the chances are that it is broadly reflective of the English speaking world. Even if UK based purchase searches do not exactly follow this distribution, it is likely to be very similar.
